How to report an online scam?

For victims of online scam or “hacked social media account”, please call Inter-Agency Response Center (I-ARC) Hotline 1326 to report.

 

If for some reasons, you won’t able to connect to hotline, please try calling the following mobile numbers under I-ARC: 0947-714-7105 (SMART), 0966-976-5971 (Globe), and 0991-481-4225 (DITO).

 

If for some reasons, you won’t be able to connect to the all the numbers indicated, please go to https://www.facebook.com/CICCgovph and then click the message button, and read the privacy statement. You can then choose the complaint you want to report.

Can I report “suspected” scam numbers, email, FB page or website to 1326 and other I-ARC numbers?

Yes, you may but it is better to report suspected scam numbers, email, FB page or website to the official FB page of the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC).

Can Scam Watch Pilipinas report on our behalf?

No. Scam Watch Pilipinas is not allowed by the government to report on someone’s behalf. The other role of Scam Watch Pilipinas is to direct victims of online scam to report to 1326 and other reporting channels of CICC

What government agency runs the Hotline 1326 and other reporting channels?

The Hotline 1326 is being operated by the Inter-Agency Response Center (I-ARC) composed of the following government agencies: Department of Information Communications and Technology (DICT), Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), National Privacy Commission (NPC) and National Telecommunications Communications (NTC) with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) As its enforcement arm in the field.

Scam Watch Pilipinas is an cybersecurity advocacy movement founded by Truth360 Inc. and Manila Bulletin to educate Filipinos against cyber fraud.

 

Scam Watch Pilipinas is also recognized as the National Citizen Arm of the government to educate Filipinos against cyber fraud after signing a covenant with the Department of Information Communications and Technology (DICT), Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) and National Telecommunications Communications (NTC) on July 14, 2023.
